Reservation Confirmation policy

To secure a hunting booking and confirm hunt dates, a non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total hunt package cost is required.

• The deposit must be received within 7 days of the hunting contract being confirmed and agreed upon by both parties.

• Payment of the deposit constitutes full acceptance of these terms by the client.

• Failure to remit the deposit within the specified 7-day period will result in the automatic release of the reserved hunting dates, making them available for rebooking.

In the event a hunter is unable to participate in their scheduled hunt, the deposit may be transferred to an alternative hunting date, subject to availability and mutual agreement, within 12 months of the original scheduled date.

Southern Peaks Safaris reserves the right to enforce these terms to ensure fairness and operational integrity for all clients and guides.

cAncellation policy

In the event of a cancellation by the client 90 days or less prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit paid will be forfeited in full. No refunds or credits will be issued. If a client chooses to postpone their hunt, the following conditions apply:

• Postponement is permitted once only, at the discretion of the client.

• The new hunt dates must fall within 12 months of the original scheduled date.

• All rescheduled dates are subject to availability and must be mutually agreed upon by Southern Peaks Safaris and the client.

• The hunt will be subject to current pricing at the time of the new dates, and any difference in rates will be charged accordingly.

Southern Peaks Safaris strongly recommends that all clients obtain appropriate travel and trip cancellation insurance.

Terms of trade

These Terms of Trade apply to all transactions and engagements between Southern Peaks Safaris NZ Ltd ("the Company") and its clients ("the Client").

By placing a reservation or booking with Southern Peaks Safaris NZ Ltd, the Client enters into a binding agreement with the Company and agrees to be bound by these Terms of Trade in full.

These terms form an integral part of any hunting contract, booking confirmation, or agreement, and apply to all services, experiences, and related arrangements provided by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment policy

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST), where applicable.

Southern Peaks Safaris NZ Ltd accepts the following methods of payment:

• Direct bank transfer (preferred)

• Credit card payments (Visa and MasterCard only), which are accepted upon completion of the hunt

Please note: A 2.8% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.

Final payment is due in full at the conclusion of the hunt. In the event of non-payment by the client at that time:

• All harvested trophies will be withheld until full payment is received

• A late payment fee of $500 USD will be charged for each overdue payment period (7-day intervals from the due date)

Southern Peaks Safaris NZ Ltd reserves the right to recover any outstanding balances through appropriate legal or collection processes, with any associated costs being the responsibility of the client.
